Pep Rally Festival Schedule 

  • 8:15 AM - Pep Rally Festival opens in Paddock Park at Meadowlands Racetrack.
    Move easily between parking lot and Paddock Park.
    Order All You Can Eat and/or Drink packages or buy what you need at concession stands.  

    Shilelagh Law cranks it up with “bare knuckle Irish music”.  Move easily between parking lot and Paddock Park.

    Irish American Troubadour Jimmy Byrne scheduled to perform his Get Up Your Irish Music

    Pass and Catch Competition & other activities for kids and adults who are kids at heart.

    Bookstore to be set up in Paddock Park pep rally area…buy your Christmas gifts early!

    Food Drive: Donate a can of vegetables, meat, soup or beans outside the park which we will collect for the Center for Food Action.
  • 10:00ish - Pep Rally honoring '70 team and Harry Oliver’s 1980 field goal vs. Michigan with ND Alumni Band, Cheerleaders and Special Guest Speakers scheduled to appear. 

    Selection of 50/50 Raffle winner.  Proceeds to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in memory of Harry Oliver and the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Foundation.
  • 11:15ish - March with Alumni Pep Band to Giants Stadium. Racetrack Park is a short walk from new Stadium. Shuttle services will be available for those who can't easily make the walk.
  • Noon - NOTRE DAME DEFEATS NAVY!
  • 3:30ish - Outdoor Mass at Racetrack Park.

    $3 per person if order tickets by October 15th    $5 per person at gate on game day
    Kids 16 and under are free!
  • Food & Beverages Buffet Special - All You Can Eat & Drink Buffet - Special discounts if ordered by Sept. 18th 

    Cost per person for buffet:                                      $27 ($30 after Sept. 18)
    Cost per person for open bar:                                 $28 ($31 after Sept. 18)
    Cost per person for buffet and open bar combo:     $53 ($56 after Sept. 18)
    Cost per person for buffet and soda bar only:          $42 ($45 after Sept. 18)
    (must be 21 or under for soda bar combo) 

    Buffet menu includes breakfast egg sandwich, bagels, doughnuts, muffins, beef and veggie burgers with onions, mushrooms and cheese; sausage sandwiches, Hebrew National hot dogs, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Buffet packages include entry to Pep Rally.  Buffet will be served under tents in event of inclement weather.  Concession stands will sell food & beverages a la carte.  Orders for buffet & drink packages can not be accepted after October 9th.

No drinks (except for bottled water), food, coolers or similar items will be allowed inside Paddock Park. 

For security reasons, backpacks are discouraged.

Facilities & Policies
  • Pep Rally Policies:  Fans pay one time to enter, exit and return to Park as often as they want so they can attend both Pep Rally festivities and tailgaters in parking lots near Paddock Park.
  • Seating: There are picnic tables and benches in Park & fans can bring in folding chairs.
  • Parking:  Park early and close to Paddock Park (closest lots are L and G) to easily tailgate and enjoy pep rally festival. Best way to Paddock Park area is RT 17 to Paterson Plank Road (from 17 North or 17 South take exit for "RT 120/Paterson Plank Road/Sports Complex") to Meadowlands entrance (about 8/10 mile east of RT 17) off Paterson Plank Road. Or enter Meadowlands complex from RT 3 & go to racetrack.(Note: RT 17N can be accessed from RT 3)
